 This is part one of the Generations Saga.
Synopsis: Six costumed youths, Nuklon, Fury, Jade, Obsidian, Northwind, and Silver Scarab, crash a Christmas Eve meeting of the Justice Society and petition to be allowed in.  After a brief scuffle, the Society members discover that the sextet are either children of JSA members or of old friends, and that Jade and Obsidian claim to be Green Lantern's children, though he has no memory of them.  When the Justice Society says that the six of them need more experience, the youth go their own way.  Minutes later, another party-crasher barges in, appearing to be the Brain Wave.

Synopsis: Star-Spangled Kid organizes the six newcomers, himself, Power Girl, and the Huntress into a team he calls Infinity, Inc.  Brainwave, Jr. breaks in to tell them that the Ultra-Humanite is at large, but he is felled by a mental attack of Ultra's, and Jade, Obsidian, Nuklon, Fury, Northwind, and Silver Scarab are lured into a time machine which takes them back to 1942.  Brainwave manages to hitch a ride.

 In this story, Brainwave, Jr. reveals that he is the son of Merry, Star-Spangled Kid's sister.
Synopsis: The seven lost members of Infinity, Inc. return from 1942, rejoin the others, and set up shop at Stellar Studios, an abandoned movie company owned by Star-Spangled Kid.  Unfortunately, they learn that Solomon Grundy is making the movie lot his home.  Meanwhile, several JSA members are immersed in the waters of Koehaha by an evil Superman.

Synopsis: After the wedding of Green Lantern and the Harlequin, Harbinger appears to take the JSA and Infinity, Inc. to the Monitor's satellite.  Rick Tyler, left behind, becomes the second Hourman to check on Beth Chapel, who has lost her sight in daytime but, like Dr. Mid-Nite, can see in darkness.  After she and Hourman II are attacked by the Anti-Monitor's shadow-demons, she creates a costume and calls herself "Dr. Midnight".  The Chapel family home is struck by a cannonball, so Dr. Midnight and Hourman II rush outside to investigate.

Comment: It is difficult to assign an Old Earth / New Earth designation to the members of Infinity, Inc., as there is no clear break in their adventures before and after the effects of the Crisis takes place. We have assigned the break to this issue, since it is the one after which the LAST DAYS OF THE JUSTICE SOCIETY SPECIAL first occurs.
Synopsis: The Infinitors learn from Dr. Fate of the Justice Society's removal from the mortal plane, and must deal with their grief and inform the JSA's friends and family of their departure.
