Scripter Bob Rozakis has revealed that in the succeeding two
issues the secret origin of Star Sapphire II would have been revealed,
the Silver Ghost would have been revealed as a Nazi commandant from Earth-X,
and the Freedom Fighters would have joined forces with the Justice Society
to defeat the two Secret Societies of Super-Villains. The Freedom
Fighters would have returned to Earth-X and the Justice Society members,
after liberating their captive members (the fourth of whom was to be Johnny
Thunder), would have chased the Secret Society members led by the Wizard
through a warp into Earth-One. The Wizard's Secret Society next appears
in JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA #166, but before the flashback part of that
story, the Wizard briefly springs a trap on the Flash in ADVENTURE COMICS
#460 and Professor Zoom takes time out to battle Superman and the Flash
in DC COMICS PRESENTS #1-2.
Synopsis: Copperhead and the Sizematic Twins overcome Doll Man and
Uncle Sam, while Chronos and Mirror Master defeat and capture Black Condor
and Phantom Lady in Central City. Quakemaster, Killer Moth, and the
Silver Ghost himself best the Human Bomb and Firebrand in Coast City.
After the Silver Ghost mentions knowing Firebrand's secret identity, he
unmasks before the Earth-X hero, who is astonished at seeing the Ghost's
real face.
