Comment: The Guardians of the Universe who appear in this story are not Oans, do not resemble the Guardians who are masters of the Green Lantern Corps, and are another entity entirely, concerned with preserving the balances of planetary forces.  They admit to using various heroes of different planets as their agents, but, if they were the Oan Guardians, they would simply use their own Green Lanterns.
Synopsis: Captain Comet is summoned by a council of aliens known as the Guardians of the Universe to help a fellow mutant, Radea, stop another band of aliens from moving their world closer to the sun and thus imbalancing cosmic forces.
